Mrs. Sonila Sonker has over 11 years of experience in teaching field. She also worked as a Site Engineer and Junior Engineer in Building Construction Site. She had been appointed as a Trainer in Mason Training Program by J.K. LAXMI CEMENT. Mrs. Sonila had been done her training from Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) and also from Chhattisgarh Housing Board. She got many appreciation awards for outstanding results and best faculty at all reputed Institute where she worked. Mrs. Sonila is working as an Assistant Professor @ LIET since 2021. She is very reputed and hard working Professor for our institute. Her polite behavior towards students and her helping nature distinguish her from others. She has done M.Tech (Hons.) in Structural Engineering from Kalinga University Raipur Chhattisgarh and also done B.E.(Hons.) in Civil Engineering from Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Engineering and Technology (SSIET) Durg under Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU). She has various key skills and knowledge of software related to Civil Engineering field. Mrs. Sonila guided B.Tech and Diploma students for more than 40+ final year project and Thesis report.

She published many research papers and books in various journals. She was also conduct, organize, coordinate and attend various live webinars, seminars, workshops, international and national conferences at various Engineering Colleges. She also participated and attended in “Innovation in Teaching and Learning Approaches”, “NBA Accreditation and Teaching Learning Process in Engineering”, “Intellectual Property Rights”, “IP Awareness Training Program”.
