The dream begins, most of the time, with a teacher who believes in you, who tugs and pushes and leads you on to the next plateau, sometimes poking you with a sharp stick called truth.

Mr. Mitter has been working with LIET since 2013 in electrical engineering department. It has been 8.5 years to work as an assistant professor and have been teaching circuit theory, switchgear and protection, power electronics, power system protection and power system. Today when passed out students meet, they highly obliged that due to basic concepts of Electrical Engineering, they are placed with renowned MNC’s. They feel that whatever they have become it’s because the learning that happens in classroom. Apart from teaching since last 4 years Mr. Mitter has been working as head of department and also working as Coordinator for technical or non-technical (Cultural) event organizing in college premises. Has coordinated 2 international conferences in institute. Mr. Mitter participated 8 AICTE recognized NITTTR technical teacher training. He has participated and presented papers in 10 national and international conferences or journals. He has Three times GATE qualified in Electrical Engineering and guided 8 M. Tech. thesis which was completed and currently guiding five student whose work is about to complete.
